[0:00] Tap to Pay on iPhone, UK. Accept cards with no extra hardware.

[0:07] What it is. Your iPhone becomes the card terminal. You need an iPhone XS or later, running iOS 16.4 or later, plus a supported reader app.

[0:14] UK supported apps. Stripe, SumUp, Revolut, Adyen, Zettle by PayPal, and Tyl by NatWest. Each app sets its own per-transaction rate.

[0:21] What you get. Pay-as-you-go fees only. No reader hardware. No contract. You accept contactless cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay directly on the iPhone screen.

[0:28] When it does not fit. If you need chip and PIN, a printed paper receipt, or a tip prompt at the table, you still need a traditional terminal.
